MEET FANI WILLIS

Fani T. Willis currently serves as the District Attorney for Fulton County, Georgia - the state’s largest county home to over one million Georgians. Fulton consists of most of the City of Atlanta, and many of the city’s suburban communities as well. 

Fani took office on January 1, 2021 as the first woman to ever serve as the District Attorney of Fulton County. She ousted a longtime incumbent by campaigning to protect Fulton’s neighborhoods while making the criminal justice system more fair, transparent, and focused on reducing crime by changing lives rather than seeking retribution.

She has restored integrity and effectiveness to the office by bringing in a new team of highly experienced lawyers and civic leaders to make the Fulton County District Attorney’s office one of the best in the country.
